Another good Discworld book with a few good laughs, although not as many as The Light Fantastic.
I have to say though, there are a few similarities with this book and a certain 7 book wizard series.... Of course authors and artists are inspired by other artists, and that reflects in their work. But this seemed quite close to the bone for me. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for other 'similarities'.
That said though, it has nothing to do with Discworld, which was published years ahead of Hogwarts. On to the next book! (and it won't take me another month to read this one!!)
3/5
NB: Entered into the Hogwarts Reading Challenge 2012 under History of Magic, as the book is about magic and sourcery, wizards and sourcerers.

Bad start to 2012
Oh no. It's only February and I've already had a reading lag. Not read anything for about a month. I've been aware of it for a while but have kept putting it off. Shame on me.
However, I've just got back from watching The Woman in Black, and it's made me pick up my book from off the floor, log on here and post a blog. Tonight, I am going to read.
PS. The Woman in Black was a good film, I recommend it. I read the book years ago, and could only remember tiny little bits, so it wasn't ruined for me by thinking 'the books better', which is what I usually think (I hate watching films if I haven't read the book first. Rather have the film ruined than the book!). I may have to re-read it soon. Although not before The Hunger Games, that needs a good read methinks!
