Puppet Master, Joanne Owen

I liked this book. Probably meant for young adults, but still enjoyable for older adults. I like the way the book is set out - the illustrations and the way the traditional myths are set apart from the main tale yet still enable the story to flow. I would definitely recommend and will keep it on my shelf to re-read in the future.

Fifty Shades Freed, E.L James

Right, this book is better. Why? There are still unnecessary sex scenes in it, but not as many and there is more storyline, which I have to admit is a bit turn-pagery. As I said in my Twitter feed @MaGavteLaNata01, it is much more readable than the previous two, not great by a long shot, but better. Still, it should not take 3 books to get good.

Fifty Shades Darker, E.L James

I don't have much more to say from my review from the first book. Those who say the books get better are lying. There's a bit less sex in this one, but it's still just as bad. If you take the sex away the storyline is bearable, and I have moved on to the next to find out what happens, but I'll have to wade through all the crap first to find out.

It took me about 2 months to read this book, which says it all really.  I still don't understand how these books are so popular. The bandwagon is too full, and I for one do NOT want to be on it.
