I found this story slightly boring, but then I have just finished a book about zombies and superheroes, so maybe that's not surprising! It's the second Henry James book I've read, and I must say I'm not overly impressed with him. I couldn't quite get to grips with Daisy Miller, she seemed a little contradictory in herself to me. The story, however, gives an interesting view of the society of that day, one which rejected the young girl because she didn't follow the social norm.
