This book has some really interesting writing techniques which I enjoyed a lot, but for me the story just wasn't up to scratch compared to the earlier 3 I have read. I still enjoyed it, but I didn't really connect with any of the characters. I read the first 3 books in 2 days, it took me 5 days to read this one, so that says it all really.

NB: Entered into the Hogwarts Reading Challenge 2012 under Care of Magical Creatures, as the book is about Death, who is the ultimate supernatural being.
